Privacy Policy
Website privacy and the separate handling of information entrusted to us under an engagement.
Draft for review
These notices are draft website wording, not engagement terms. The operator’s legal identity, address, privacy contact and applicable jurisdiction, together with hosting and data-handling arrangements, must be confirmed before these notices are relied upon.
Who is responsible
Sentry Diligence is the name presented on this website. The full legal entity responsible for personal data, its address and a dedicated privacy contact must be confirmed in the final notice.
Information on this website
The enquiry form asks for a name, firm, email address and nature of the matter. In the current website implementation, submission displays an acknowledgement in your browser; it does not send or store the enquiry with Sentry Diligence. Please do not include confidential client details.
Your cookie preference is stored locally on your device. The website also requests its fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a connection from your browser to Google and may disclose your IP address and browser request information.
Hosting providers may process technical request data to deliver and secure the website. Their specific logging, retention and international-transfer arrangements have not yet been verified for this notice.
Purposes and lawful bases
Website delivery, security and remembering privacy choices are the relevant purposes for technical data described here. The final notice must identify the operator’s applicable lawful bases and provider arrangements. Optional analytics and advertising tracking are not enabled by the website code.
If enquiry delivery is connected later, this notice must be updated to describe the recipient, purpose, lawful basis and retention before personal information is collected.
Engagement information
The structure map, register and gathered documents are held in an encrypted store under a client-controlled key. Output is delivered to instructing counsel. Nothing from the engagement is retained after closure unless a monitoring mandate is signed; only the map and register then remain for the duration of that mandate.
The applicable engagement documentation must separately address personal-data responsibilities, lawful bases, recipients and any legal obligations. These website notices do not expand the agreed engagement scope.
Recipients, transfers and retention
Google receives requests when externally hosted fonts load. Hosting and infrastructure providers may receive technical data necessary to serve the site. The final policy must name the relevant providers, explain any transfers and safeguards, and confirm retention periods; no unsupported guarantee about these arrangements is made here.
The cookie-choice record expires after 180 days and can be removed by clearing site storage in your browser. It is not sent to Sentry Diligence by this preference tool.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Rights may be subject to statutory conditions.
The final notice must provide a direct privacy contact and identify the applicable supervisory authority. Do not send sensitive information through the current website form.
Cookies and updates
Cookie choices can be revisited through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. This notice must be reviewed when data-handling arrangements change.
